IPL 2018 sees third pitch invasion, Virat Kohli latest target for eager fan
With Virat Kohli looking on bemused, the fan who invaded the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium fell at his feet before pleading with the security personnel not to rough him up during the IPL 2018 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils.
Indian Premier League had its third security breach of the season after a fan ran on to the pitch and fell at Virat Kohli’s feet before being marched away by security guards at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium on Saturday. (MATCH REPORT)

With the India captain looking on bemused, he fell at his feet before pleading with the security personnel not to rough him up. He was escorted out.
Umpire Kumar Dharmasena initially came in front of Kohli, who was at the non-striker’s end, before the spectator went around the official to meet Kohli.
This is the third instance of spectators breaching the usually tight security and fencing at grounds staging IPL to reach players.
