“I have always been a player who has enjoyed taking responsibilities, taking things on my shoulder. It helps me to get better as a cricketer and as a person as well. The boys are pretty chilled out, the supporting staff is nice,” says Hardik.

"We'd like to bowl first here. We did a very good job to win the game with dew condition and losing the toss but I'd like to use the conditions. Yesterday, Trent Boult had a small niggle and isn't available for today's game. Jimmy Neesham is replacing him," says Samson.

Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal have been brilliant for Rajasthan but head coach Kumar Sangakkara revealed that they never expected to get the spin pair in the auctions.

"We never expected to get both of them in the auctions, let alone one. But we were lucky and fortunate to have them and all we are trying to do is support them to get better. They just go out there and lead our attack and have been excellent," said Sangakkara.

Talking about power-hitters, West Indies'Shimron Hetmyer notched up an unbeaten 59 off 36 balls versus Lucknow Super Giants. Hetmyer, who was picked up by the team for ₹7.75 crore in the auction, hammered four sixes in the final two overs.
