Highlights of India vs Essex, warm-up game, is available here. The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team take on Essex in a three-day practice game at the County Ground in Chelmsford.

Highlights: Dinesh Karthik (82*) and Virat Kohli (68) were stand-out performers for India as they scored 322/6 on Day 1 of the only warm-up match against Essex in Chelmsford. KL Rahul (58) and Murali VIjay (53) also put in steady performances at times when the team needed it the most. Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara both departed back to the pavilion within the first three overs of the match and Ajinkya Rahane followed suit with an unnecessary dismissal in the 14th over, just as he was looking settled. Matt Coles and Paul Walter were the pick of the Essex bowlers with two wickets each as they dominated proceedings early in the first session.
