Then, South Africa reached 17/1 at stumps but the play had to be stopped after a Jasprit Bumrah bouncer hit Dean Elgar on the head. The Wanderers pitch is under question. Earlier, India’s batting, which has been put under severe pressure in this series, looked determined to put up one solid effort for the last time in this Test series and they succeeded.
