The whole team worked like a unit, starting from the blistering knock of Rovman Powell to the support from Colin Munro, everyone played their part for the win. However, he says that there are areas for improvement that they will work on later on. 5:19 AM IST PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Undoubtedly, Rovman Powell wins the award for his sensational 73 off 27. He says the pitch played much better than the one used in LAKR's previous game and was a surface where batters could trust their stroke play. He adds that although the team found themselves in a tricky position, the experience of him and Colin Munro helped guide the chase to a successful finish. Speaking about his six-hitting, Powell says clarity was the key. He explains that he was fully committed to his plans, knowing the bowlers would target the bigger side of the ground, and backed himself to clear the ropes even in that direction without any hesitation. On the significance of the win, Powell calls it a massive result, thanking the LA supporters for turning up in numbers and hoping they return again for the next game. He adds that after three straight defeats, the dressing room needed a lift, and this victory gives the side the belief that they can fight back and win from any situation.
