16-yr-old nabbed with ‘live bullets’

The CISF on Friday nabbed a 16-year-old boy at Mayur Vihar Phase 1 station for allegedly trying to get into the Metro with bullets in his bag. The boy was handed over to Delhi Police for further enquiry.

Hemendra Singh, assistant inspector general, CISF, said that around 4 pm, when the boy arrived at the metro station and headed for a security check, our man on duty at the X-Ray screener spotted some suspicious images on screen.

“The bag was taken for a manual checking and five live bullets were recovered . On enquiry, the boy could not tell about the source of the ammunition,” the AIG said.
