A fire broke out on the fourth floor of Lok Nayak Bhawan that houses several government offices in Delhi on Monday. No casualties have been reported.

The building, which is the headquarters of Enforcement Directorate, also has some offices of the CBI, Income Tax and the National Disaster Response Force.

Twenty-six fire tenders and one skylift were deployed at the spot.

While there were no reports of casualties, fire officers said they still needed to check the building to ensure no one was trapped.

Thick smoke bellowing above the building had engulfed at least three floors above the one in which the fire broke out, said fire officials.
