The centre in west zone in Dwarka’s Sector 11 will be spread across 10 acres and two in northwest Delhi’s Netaji Subhash Place (Pitampura) and Rohini District Centre-II will be 1.50 acres and 11.25 acres, respectively.

The centres in east Delhi will be in central business district Shahdara (1.50 acres) and District Centre Mayur Vihar (2 acres).

The centre in South Delhi will be near Sultan Garhi Tomb in Vasant Kunj and will be spread across 11.25 acres.

“This is for the first time that DDA is developing cultural centres on such a big level. A trust will be formed to look after the development and functioning of these centres,” said DDA vice-chairman Arun Goel.

It will take around five years for DDA to develop these facilities, he added.
