A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death at Central Delhi's Anand Parbat area on Wednesday night.

The victim has been identified as Manish Gupta. "Gupta was walking to his residence in Anand Parbat's Nai Basti area, when he was waylaid by assailants at Ghatti Road," said a police officer investigating the matter.

Police said the gang stabbed Gupta repeatedly with knives and sharp objects and left him bleeding on the street. "Onlookers rushed him to the adjacent Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where he was declared brought dead," he said.
