Top CBI officials, including director AP Singh, on Tuesday briefed the JPC on telecom policy about the progress of its investigation into the 2G scam.

The CBI also maintained that it has not found anything incriminating against Chidambaram even in connection with the Aircel-Maxis deal.

Even as some opposition members pointed fingers at the delay by the CBI in taking action into the 2G scam, officials of the premier investigative agency argued that they started the probe soon after the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General was released.

In their deposition, the CBI also mentioned Unitech's investment of $51 million in the Isle of Man was also under scanner.
