3-year-old dead, another child hurt in Kapashera wall collapse

A three-year-old girl was killed while her elder brother sustained injuries after a portion of the wall of a building fell on them in southwest Delhi’s Kapashera on Tuesday morning. According to police, the incident took place at around 10am in Gali number-2, Kapashera.

A three-year-old girl was killed while her elder brother sustained injuries after a portion of the wall of a building fell on them in southwest Delhi’s Kapashera on Tuesday morning. According to police, the incident took place at around 10am in Gali number-2, Kapashera.

The deceased was identified as Soni Kumari, while her elder brother who was injured has been identified as Sonu Kumar. A police officer said the brother-sister duo was playing near the wall when it collapsed and fell on them. A rescue team from the fire department reached the spot to rescue the victims.

“They were immediately rushed to a government hospital where the doctors declared the girl brought dead. The condition of the boy was stated to be stable,” the officer said. HTC
