The athletes also shopped at the airport duty free outlets.

Sources said Customs officials have been asked not to take leaves till October 20 and also work in three shifts.
Air India is providing special chartered flights for the Australian delegation, the first of which departed on Friday. AI had also made special arrangements for five paraplegic contestants of the delegation.

“Provisions have been made for wheelchairs and to seat the passengers in the front rows or the rows with maximum leg room and also easy access to toilets,” an AI spokesman said.
