Dikshit had last week requested Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Darmar Murugesan to make the five fast-track courts functional immediately as per a recommendation of the Delhi government.

Later the registrar general of the Delhi High Court sent a communication to the government informing that the recommendation has been accepted.

Senior officials said the Delhi government will provide all necessary resources for effective functioning of the fast-track courts.
