To ensure Delhiites do not face inconvenience due to power cuts, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited has chalked out a summer plan for this year.

According to its spokesperson, this is being done to make sure that there is no shortfall in meeting the power demand during the summer months.
“We are arranging 1,164 MW from state and central generating units. Not only this, we have made bilateral arrangements to ensure power is available in the years to come. For instance, in April, 301 MW of power is being arranged from Jhajjar, Maithon and Rithala. We have made similar arrangements for other months too,” added the spokesperson.
