NEW DELHI: Delhiites experienced another hot day with the maximum temperature settling around 41.5 degrees Celsius in the national capital.

“Safdarjung observatory, reading of which is considered as the official figure for the city, recorded a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average while the minimum temperature settled at 31.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal,” a MeT department official said.
Palam observatory registered a maximum temperature of 42.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal. The city had not received rain since Friday.
The MeT office has predicted rains accompanied by dust storm and thunderstorm on Sunday.
