Interacting with media here on Wednesday, Baba Ramdev accused some irresponsible leaders of trying to sabotage Modi's likely bid to become the country's next prime minister.

Baba Ramdev described Modi as the only leader to have both guts and the courage to take on the United Progressive Alliance government, which is facing the heat over a number of corruption instances.

He also praised Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his achievements in the state, but reiterated that only Modi was capable of taking on the government".

"Those who cannot digest these qualities of Modi should do kapaal bhati (a yogic breathing exercise made famous by the Baba) and improve their digestion," he said, in a clear reference to Modi's critics in BJP.
