Since the Metro reached Badarpur a few days ago, daily commuters from Faridabad have been finding it difficult to reach the Metro station in the absence of a proper feeder service.

"We are planning to introduce a feeder service from the Badarpur Metro station to various parts of Faridabad," SS Saini, General Manager, Haryana Roadways, Faridabad told Hindustan Times, adding, "about 100 buses are being manufactured in Jaipur and their delivery is expected within a month."

"Once the buses reach us, the problem of commuting to the Badarpur Metro station will be solved to some extent," Saini said, adding, "out of about 200 buses, over 70 have already reached Faridabad some time ago and are plying on different routes."

Eight buses are already plying from Ballabhgarh to Badarpur border on a daily basis, officials said.

Daily commuters from Faridabad have a grouse against both the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)

and Haryana Roadways for non-availability of a feeder service at the Badarpur Metro station for various sectors in Faridabad.

"There is an immediate requirement of a feeder service from the Metro station to different parts of Faridabad, so that our travel becomes easier," said Anupama, a resident of Ashoka Enclave area in Faridabad, who travels Delhi daily.

"What is lacking is the feeder service from our sector in Faridabad. If that is done, it will be smooth travel to our office in Delhi," said Subodh Nagpal, a resident of Sector 29 and a government employee posted in Delhi.
