A Bihar-bound express train on Sunday derailed while entering the New Delhi railway station, causing panic among passengers.

"The engine of the Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath express went off the track while entering platform number 11," railway spokesperson AS Negi said.

Nobody was injured in the mishap, he added.

The engine was later restored on the track and the train departed to Saharsa at 13 35 hrs, Negi said.
