The BJP today alleged bungling in the DDA’s draw of lots and demanded a CBI probe into it.

“Application number 821900, which belonged to Sunil Kumar Jain, was declared successful in the draw. His four sons Sameer Jain, Bhanu Jain, Gaurav Jain and Vivek Jain (App. No. 337382, 715419, 1007146, 1294180 respectively) have also been declared successful,” said city BJP chief Vijender Gupta.
Similarly, he alleged applicants Poonam Gautam, Rahul Gautam and Preeti Gautam, who are children of Surendra Kumar, too have been allotted flats. “Can three applicants from the same family be allotted houses in serial numbers?" he demanded.
Gupta also questioned pricing the Janata flats at R6 lakh per dwelling unit. “How can the poor afford to pay such a high price for these flats? The black marketeers will purchase papers from those people who have been successful,” he said.
“The price of a Vasant Kunj flat is around R1.12 crore. Can a common man purchase such costly flats?” he said.
