Janakpuri MLA Jagdish Mukhi’s son in law Suresh Kumar joined the Congress along with his supporters on Wednesday. Mukhi is a BJP MLA.
An office bearer in the district BJP, Kumar was one of the front runners for the upcoming municipal elections but was denied ticket at the last minute, sources said
Kumar called the BJP “fascist” and its leadership “favour-seekers”. He joined the Congress at a function at the DPCC HQ.
