Satish Upadhyay, BJP Delhi Pradesh president said that if voted to power, the party will take up the issue of guest teachers on priority basis. He hailed the decision of the education department of the Delhi Government to increase the age limit of guest teachers and to increase their fee per class from Rs 600 to Rs 1000.

Besides this, the mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation has accepted the long demand of the traders of old Delhi to free the conversion parking charges from the process of trade licensing. As commercial activities have been going on in old Delhi for long, Upadhyay said, there was no need for this to exist .

Upadhyay blamed Arvind Kejriwal for avoiding the demands of guest teachers during his 49 days rule.

On the CSAT row, Upadhyay dissuaded the agitating students from doing anything that may result in police action and spoiling their career.
