The BJP has decided to launch a signature campaign to protest against the latest hike in CNG prices in Delhi.

"The recent CNG price hike shows the indifference of Delhi government about the increased burden on the common man in Delhi. Even after the recent hike in the prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, etc, the government did not hesitate to increase the CNG prices. Auto-rickshaw associations have already threatened to increase fares," said Vijender Gupta, Delhi BJP president.
He said the BJP workers will stage protests at 14 CNG stations on July 10.
"During the past two years, CNG prices have been increased seven times. And the hike announced on Friday is one of the biggest," he added.
Gupta alleged that the government has not taken a single step to increase the numbers of CNG gas pumping stations.
The Indraprastha Gas Limited had hiked CNG prices by Rs. 2.90 on Friday.
