BJP vows fresh protests against hike in power tariffs
BJP leader Vijay Goel on Sunday said that there should be competition among discoms so that the electricity tariffs that were hiked recently come down.
BJP leader Vijay Goel on Sunday said that there should be competition among discoms so that the electricity tariffs that were hiked recently come down. Goel was speaking at the first conclave of a new umbrella body of Federation of New Delhi RWAs. The federation will work closely with the elected representatives in formulating policies that affect the citizens.

The conclave witnessed participation by eminent personalities such as retired IAS officer Bhure Lal, former L-G of Delhi Vijay Kapoor, constitutional expert Subhash Kashyap and tax guru Subhash Lakhotia.
In a separate bid, party state president Vijender Gupta also started a 40-day campaign against hike in electricity tariffs. Comparing the government to ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ , Gupta said if the BJP comes to power, they will roll back the hike.
