Jammu and Kashmir native Amir Abbas Dev was produced in court on Friday. Special NIA judge HS Sharma remanded Dev to the custody of the agency till October 7 on the plea of the investigators.
Dev, during the in-camera proceedings, told the court that he would co-operate in the probe. Later, the counsel for Dev told journalists that he was arrested on September 16 at Kishtwar on the basis of a statement of co-accused Hussain.
The agency told the court that Dev was involved in sending e-mails to media houses, claiming responsibility of the blast on behalf of banned terror outfit Harkat ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI).
