The first ATM machine was inaugurated at the company’s customer care centre at the Nehru Place head office by Gopal Saxena, chief executive officer of BRPL and JP Singh, senior vice-president and circle head, Delhi NCR, Axis Bank.

Customers wanting to pay electricity bills by cash can simply withdraw money from the ATM and pay. “There is no substitute for a cost-reflective tariff. To reduce tariff pressure on its consumers, BRPL is exploring various non-tariff sources of revenue generation. Setting-up ATMs at its premises is one such option,” said Saxena, BRPL CEO.
