Cab driver stabbed, dies

A 32-year-old driver was robbed and stabbed to death by unknown men in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri when he resisted their attempt to rob him, police said.

A 32-year-old driver was robbed and stabbed to death by unknown men in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri when he resisted their attempt to rob him, police said.

"The incident took place in Mayur Vihar Phase III on Sunday night and the deceased has been identified as Vijender. He was stabbed several times by the unidentified assailants when he refused to hand over the money and valuables that he was carrying," said a senior police officer. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
