The Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections kicked off formally on Tuesday with candidates filing their nominations, HT reports.

The Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections kicked off formally on Tuesday with candidates filing their nominations.

As many as 130 nominations were filed till the end of the day.

Out of these, close to 15 people have filed nominations for each of the four posts.

While 35 nominations were received for the post of the president, 30 were received for that of vice-president.

For the remaining two posts of joint-secretary and secretary 33 and 32 nominations were filed.

The candidates have time to withdraw their nominations till 12 noon on September 6. The voting is scheduled for September 4.
