The cash reward was announced by Delhi police commissioner Neeraj Kumar after teams of outer Delhi police failed to make a breakthrough in the case even a week after the incident.
Meanwhile, a team of the crime branch has also been roped in to conduct a parallel investigation in the case.
The crime branch team on visited the house where Karishma Chauhan, 23 and her parents—Yogendra Pratap Singh Chauhan,52, and Rekha Chauhan, 50, were found dead on September 21 morning.
Investigators from outer district police so far were probing the case from personal enmity, property and burglary angles. They questioned more than 100 people, including family members, relatives and friends of the victims, in connection with the case.
More than 30 burglars active in Sector 17, Rohini and adjoining areas were also grilled. However, police failed to ascertain the motive behind the murders, leave alone the identity of the killers.
