"The accused in conspiracy with RCS officials including its registrar R K Srivastava got the wound up society revived fraudulently and the land was also allotted to the society by the DDA," said the chargesheet filed in the court of special CBI judge OP Saini.

The probe agency has sought their prosecution under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, dealing with cheating, presenting fake documents as genuine and accepting bribe.

The court allowed the CBI's plea of grant of some time for filing original documents and a sanction letter, a pre-requisite for prosecuting RCS officials.

Lok Priya Vihar Cooperative Group Housing Society, which was formed in 1983, was wound up by the RCS in 1992 after its founder Dev Raj, also an accused, and other members failed to comply with legal requirements, the CBI said.

Almost nine years after the CGHS, having its office at Defence Colony here, became defunct, K K Wadhwa, a property dealer, approached its founder member Dev Raj and manipulated the records in connivance with RCS officials and got the society revived, it said.

The accused made fake members in the society and later got the land allotted by the DDA after paying Rs 2.19 crore, it said.
