This year, the number of cheating cases reported from the city grew from 10 last year to 25 — an increase of 150%.

The total cases in the country went up from 47 last year to 63 this year. No cheating cases were reported from Chennai, the city with the cleanest record. But, there is some good news as well. The number of Delhiites who were placed in compartment this year came down to 20,783 this year from 22,081 last year. The least percentage of compartments — 5.58% — were also reported from Chennai region.
