Amid accusations of corruption in the UPA-2 regime, Mulayam Singh Yadav almost stalled the House claiming that China was preparing to attack India.

During Question Hour, Yadav insisted on a response from the government on certain remarks by army chief VK Singh with regard to China. During zero hour, Yadav wanted a discussion on China, saying he had information that it was preparing to attack India.

“China is encroaching on our land and we are doing nothing,” he said, demanding an immediate discussion on relations with China.

“China is laying claim on several of our states including Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand besides Ladakh region....It is going to attack us soon...The attack can take place any time,” Yadav added.

However, he did not receive support from any party.
