On the 25th death anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi, a photo exhibition-cum-film screening about her life and times drew visitors from all over the city.

Rajiv Sharma (28), a history student at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), was captivated by the diversity of pictures, “The exhibition has some of the most rare pictures of Mrs Gandhi on display,” he said.

The two-day exhibition featured 20 box-like panels, each one displaying four pictures from significant chapters of the former PM’s life. Other highlights of the exhibition were: a film screening enclosure for the slain leader’s 42-minute biography, a cartoon corner displaying political caricatures tracing developments initiated by her, and a corner displaying a collage of newspaper clippings from her days.
