On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.3 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, while the minimum was recorded at 15.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.

The humidity oscillated between 39% and 93%.Shallow fog also engulfed the airport in the morning, forcing the authorities to implement low visibility procedures (LVP) as a precautionary measure from 7am to noon.

"It was Category-I fog due to which we had to implement the LVP," an airport official said.

The measure did not affect flight operations. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain between 29 and 15 degree Celsius.
