Clear way for rickshaws: HC

The Delhi High Court on Monday directed the civic agency for immediate removal of obstructions from the lane marked for cycle rickshaws on SP Mukherjee Marg, connecting New Delhi to Old Delhi where the pilot project for smooth traffic is operational.

Pulling up MCD for non-compliance of its order, the Delhi High Court on Monday directed the civic agency for immediate removal of obstructions from the lane marked for cycle rickshaws on SP Mukherjee Marg, connecting New Delhi to Old Delhi where the pilot project for smooth traffic is operational.

A Bench directed the agency to remove a toilet and two trees from the lane within five days.
