The protesters accused the government of suppressing their demand for a probe for the past three years.
Rubbishing the claims of the Delhi Police, Maulana Aamir Rashadi, national president, RUC said the two youth - Atif Ameen and Mohammad Sajid - killed at Batla House were innocent students. "They were not operatives of Indian Mujahideen. We still believe that the encounter was fake. Only an independent enquiry by a sitting or retired Supreme Court judge would bring out the truth," said Rashadi.
Mohammad Tahir Madni, national general secretary, RUC, alleged that Muslim youth were being falsely implicated in terrorism cases.
