Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit gave away awards to 20 of Delhi’s serving doctors in the Capital on Wednesday.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit gave away awards to 20 of Delhi’s serving doctors in the Capital on Wednesday.

State health minister Kiran Walia and Principal health secretary JP Singh were among those present on the occasion.

“Keeping the risky service atmosphere of doctors in mind, the Government has decided to give them due recognition through State awards,” said Dikshit.

Dr Anjan Prakash (Aruna Asif Ali Hospital), Dr Vijay Trehan (GB Pant Hospital), Dr AK Jain (MAMC), Dr R.K. Grover (Delhi State Cancer Research Institute)were among the 20 doctors honoured.
