CM Kejriwal appoints 11 MLAs as panel chiefs

In order to accommodate MLAs in different committees of the government, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has appointed 11 MLAs as chairpersons to the District Development Committees (DDC).

In order to accommodate MLAs in different committees of the government, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has appointed 11 MLAs as chairpersons to the District Development Committees (DDC).

Earlier three MLAs were appointed as vice-chairpersons and members in Delhi Jal Board and two others were appointed as member in Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Vishesh Ravi, MLA from Karol Bagh will be chairperson of central district, Raju Dhingan, MLA from Trilokpuri will head DDC of east district, Col Devinder Sehrawat, MLA from Bijwasan (New Delhi), Rajesh Yadav from Badli (north), Shri Dutt Sharma of Ghonda- northeast, Mohinder Goyal of Rithala (northwest), Rajendra Pal Gautam of Seemapuri (Shahdara), Dinesh Mohaniya of Sangam Vihar (south), Amanatullah Khan of Okhla (southeast), Bhavna Gaur of Plama (southwest) and Naresh Balyan of Uttam Nagar will head the DDC of west district.

Party sources also said that about 15 MLAs will work closely with the six ministers as Aam Aadmi Party wants to groom the legislators and give them exposure of administrative work to build a second line of leadership.
