"The metro is now well-developed. In another six months, we will have a metro network of 190 km in Delhi. But that is not enough. People use buses to reach the metro stations and come back home also. So, we suggest a common ticketing system which is also the latest global trend. We are negotiating and in a year, we will have a common ticketing facility," Jaipal Reddy told reporters in New Delhi on the sidelines of a real estate event.

Such a system will help save the time and cost of the commuters who travel both by bus and metro, he added.
