“While raising the Adarsh issue, the BJP is not taking the name of Suresh Prabhu, who was a minister in the National Democratic Alliance regime or Ajay Sancheti, who is supposed to be very close to Gadkari. According to reports, Sancheti’s driver, whose monthly salary is Rs 8,600, purchased a flat worth Rs 60 lakh. There is speculation that he is a proxy for Gadkari,” Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed said.

BJP spokesman Prakash Javdekar dubbed the allegation as baseless and threatened to take legal action against the Congress leader if the charges were not proved in 72 hours.
