Court admits case against Delhi CM Kejriwal over thulla remark

A court on Friday took cognizance of a defamation case against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for using the word “thulla” for police personnel.

A court on Friday took cognizance of a defamation case against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for using the word “thulla” for police personnel.

Metropolitan magistrate Anu Aggarwal gave opportunity to the complainant, constable Harvinder, to substantiate his allegation made in the complaint by leading further evidence.

The court listed the matter for September 10 for examination of the complainant’s witnesses.

The station house officer of Govindpuri and a head constable, who will be examined as witnesses in the case, were asked to appear before court on the next date of hearing.
