Delhi assembly polls: NCP throws its hat in election ring
The Nationalist Congress (NCP) on Tuesday said it will contest from all 70 seats of the Delhi assembly during the polls slated to be held later this year to provide voters with a “viable alternative”. HT reports.

The party is the constituent of the UPA.
The party will also launch a statewide “Jan Chetna Abhiyaan” against the Congress-led Sheila Dikshit government, NCP state working president Kanwar Pratap Singh said.
“Delhi has been bearing the same government for the last 15 years. Looking at the problems of the citizens, NCP will launch a campaign to raise awareness about the government’s tendency to mislead people,” Singh claimed.
