Delhi children proud of CWG

The Commonwealth Games (CWG) was an event that Delhi's children are unlikely to forget any time soon. According to a survey conducted by Cartoon Network, the awareness levels with respect to CWG among Delhi Kids were 89% as compared to the national average of 43%. HT reports.

The Commonwealth Games (CWG) was an event that Delhi's children are unlikely to forget any time soon.
According to a survey conducted by Cartoon Network, the awareness levels with respect to CWG among Delhi Kids were 89% as compared to the national average of 43%. A high 79% were proud that the games were held in the city and were happy with the way it was hosted.

At the national level, 43% children said they were aware of Commonwealth Games with aware levels of Delhi kids at 89%.

The survey sample included a total of 3,759 children between the ages of 7 and 14 years. More than 1,100 parents of children between ages 4 and 6 years were also surveyed. The survey was conducted across 19 centres including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Nasik, Ahmedabad and Lucknow. The survey also revealed trends about pocket money. According to the survey, kids in Delhi are a rich bunch. The number of kids in Delhi who are given pocket money and gift money is 90% and 76%.
