Briefing reporters after the meeting, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said her government was committed to providing better healthcare to players and officials coming from 71 countries for the Games.
The state health department has identified the ambulances manufactured by Force Motors after due inspection by a team of officials from the health and family welfare department besides the transport department, an official said.
The ambulances will be deployed during the Commonwealth Games, the official said, adding that beds will also be earmarked for sportspersons in a number of super-specialty hospitals in the capital.
