Domestic help gang-raped in west delhi, one arrested

A 25-year-old domestic help was raped, allegedly by a locksmith and his relative, and molested by another at her employer's house in west Delhi's Vishnu Garden.

A 25-year-old domestic help was raped, allegedly by a locksmith and his relative, and molested by another at her employer's house in west Delhi's Vishnu Garden.

The incident took place on December 8 at the house of her employer, a doctor.

The doctor, who runs a private clinic in Vishnu Garden, had gone to Himachal Pradesh to meet his wife when the incident took place. Police have arrested the locksmith, identified as Gurwinder Singh Namdhari alias Sheru, while the son of his brother-in-law, Aman, and the third accused are absconding.

A case of gang rape has been registered at the Rajouri Garden police station.

According to a police officer, the matter came to light on Thursday after the victim approached the Rajouri Garden police station and lodged a complaint.
