Drunk youth runs over six people

Police said the incident took place in the New Rajender Nagar’s J block at 8:15 pm.

“The errant driver has been identified as Ashu Saini (21), a resident of East Moti Nagar,” said a senior police officer on the condition of anonymity.

According to police, Kumar was speeding behind the wheel of his black Chevrolet Optra car. “Prima facie, it seems that Kumar and his male associate were under the influence of alcohol,” added the officer.

According to police, three of the six who were injured were taken to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. The police said one of the victims who is yet to be identified, was grievously injured. The accused have been caught and send for a medical examination.
