Easy Physics paper a cakewalk for students

Teachers said this time around there was less numerical parts with the paper heavy on conceptual questions. “The board’s strategy is to reduce the gap between IIT and CBSE so the paper was according to that. There was less number of direct questions; students were required to think,” said P Lele, physics teacher at Springdales School, Pusa Road.

Students were also happy that the questions were entirely from the syllabus. “There was no surprise element in the paper and it was easier than last year’s,” Lele said.

Most students said they expected to score well in today’s paper. “I finished my paper half an hour before time. Most of the questions were from previous year’s papers,” said Anirudh Saxena, a student.
