The agenda will be worked out when the 14-member panel has its introductory meeting
After the meeting, the members of the NAC will call on the Prime Minister.
The NAC, constituted on June 1 as a think-tank, will advise the government on various pro-poor programmes like food security. Radical legislations of UPA-I like the right to information and the national rural employment guarantee act had emerged out of the deliberations of the NAC.
Gandhi had resigned from the NAC in March 2006 following the office-of-profit row and was named its chairperson again on March 29 this year.
