The incident occurred at 11pm on Tuesday when family of one Laxman Goel traveling in Ford Endeavour was on its way to Shahdara in Delhi. The family was returning home after attending a marriage ceremony in Agra.
The car was following an oil tanker, which took a sudden U-turn at Sikri-Pyala crossing under Ballabgarh Sadar police station, due to which the speeding Endeavour crashed into the tanker.
Soon after the incident, traffic was disrupted for some time and some locals gathered at the spot who rushed the deceased and the injured to hospital.
