Mahananda Express was reported running late by 25 hours. Trains which were running late by more than 10 hours included Jansadharan Express, Garib Rath, S Kranti Express, Magadh and Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express.

Sealdah, Bhubaneswar and Howrah Rajdhanis had to be rescheduled. “The heavy backlog of trains led to delays owing to fog in Delhi,” a Northern Railways spokesperson said.
