The three men are Kannesh Kumar, 25, his cousin Jitendra Kumar, 24 and Sanjib Kumar Dass, 23. The arrests came following investigations into a complaint that some DTC conductors were selling forged bus passes to passengers causing revenue loss to the DTC.

“A checking team in association with the DTC purchased five daily bus passes for R50 each at the Delhi Secretariat on May 9 from a conductor,” said a senior police officer. When the authenticity of the passes was checked at the IP Bus Depot, it was found that the passes had not been issued by DTC.
